I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHC-A) in the state of North Carolina. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Kennesaw State University and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina Central University. I have worked in outpatient office and community settings with individuals and families. 

I utilize an integrative counseling approach based in Person-Centered therapy with components of Solution-Focused therapy, Strengths-Based therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral therapy. My approach to counseling is to create a welcoming, safe, and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings. By integrating various therapeutic modalities, I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each client, helping them build on their strengths while developing additional skills to navigate challenges. I value collaboration and view the therapeutic relationship as a partnership, working together to explore solutions and develop strategies that support personal growth and well-being.

I currently accept Aetna, American Plan Administrators, BCBS (except Blue Home), Medcost, select Medicaid plans (Amerihealth Caritas , Carolina Complete Health, Healthy Blue, United Healthcare Community Plan, Wellcare), and NC State Health Plan.

Under the supervision of Taria Bonaparte, MA, LCMHCS I can see client with the following insurance: ChampVA, Cigna, Medicare, and Optum/United Healthcare, and UMR.
