I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Licensed clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) in the state of North Carolina with more than a decade of experience in the counseling field. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and dual Master of Science degrees in Rehabilitation Counseling and Substance Abuse & Clinical Counseling from East Carolina University. I have worked in office, community and hospital settings.

I utilize an eclectic counseling approach consisting of Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, a person-centered approach, Gestalt therapy, Reality therapy and Motivational interviewing. My approach to counseling is warm and encouraging while also promoting accountability. I do not believe in “fixing” people; however, I do believe in recovery! I would love the opportunity to support you on your journey of healing!
