I am currently a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern pursing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Shaw University. I am a proud member of the Golden Key International Honor Society, which recognizes academic achievement and leadership.
My passion for counseling comes from a desire to help individuals navigate life’s challenges in a safe, supportive and non-judgemental environment. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, relationship concerns, depression, stress, low self-esteem, trauma and life transitions etc. I believe healing begins when individuals feel heard, understood and empowered.
In counseling practice, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy to help clients identify unhealthy thought patterns, develop healthy coping skills, improve emotional wellness and build confidence in their daily lives. My therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, compassion and collaboration.
Under the supervision of Taria Bonaparte, MA, LCMHCS, I am committed to providing compassionate and evidence-based care to individuals seeking support, healing and emotional balance.
